I'll put this here, so you'll be sure to see it.
Obviously everyone knows all those names you mentioned. The funny part is that you don't know the ones I mentioned. You don't know, for instance, that Xelic is considered to be possibly the best Peach dittoer in the country, and one of the best Peaches in general in the world. I can forgive not know Rayz and Chang, even though there are vids from a recent Texas tournament of Rayz beating Dope's Falco. Maybe it would help if I told you that Wobbles, DoH, Xelic, and Caveman just stayed at my house in Texas on the way to a tournament in Georgia, and will be stopping by again on the way back tomorrow?
If you think Texas has no good players, you know nothing about competitive Smash. Go ask your serious players and see if they agree with that (they won't; go watch the crew vids from the FCs and such). You don't know about the South players because they don't often travel, and because you haven't done any actual research beyond the superficial. You might not even know that Caveman used to be considered one of the top 10 players in the country, and Fastliketree was far more recently in the top 20 (ranked by some of those players you mentioned).
You think all your guys are 10x better than the Texas players. You're completely wrong, but you don't know that because you're ignorant. But you insisted on it anyway, because you're arrogant and things you know much more than you do. But you're wrong.
You say you're done with this conversation because you actually have nowhere to go with it, and never did after I called you out with my first response. I'm posting this here because you started it, and because you have a bad attitude, and because you're a sore loser. *You* are the one who still needs to learn about this game, and stop listening to hype and worshiping names. If you don't know that Texas is regarded as one of the highest concentrations of Smash skill in the country, you know *nothing* about the Smash scene as a whole. Otherwise you might know that Fastliketree + Xelic teamed and took 2nd at MLG Dallas.
I wanted to point out here how many things you don't know, and how many false assumptions you made. I wanted to do that because it could help you to avoid talking authoritatively about things you don't know in the future.
Maybe you also don't know that Wobbles lives in Texas half the time, enough to be on our power rankings. Maybe you don't know that Hylian, a famous Brawl player, lives here.
You were never once able to argue against any points I made in those essays you didn't read. You didn't even try after the first post. Don't bother people you've never met and insult them on the basis of baseless assumptions. You called me ignorant, but I've proven you wrong, and instead I've evidenced your ignorance.
*This* is the end, because there's nothing left for either of us to say.
